“He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel.” Psalm 103:7
God reveals Himself to those who seek Him. Moses knew God intimately, including His ways, so He could be his representative.
Here is the prayer of Paul, the apostle: "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better.” Ephesians 1:16
But knowing God cannot happen apart from making Him known. "’You are my witnesses,’ declares the Lord, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.’" Isaiah 43:10 God makes Himself known to those who have begun to make Him known. We make Him known, so that we may know Him better.
We are sent as ambassadors to represent the king of heaven. “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” (2 Cor. 5:20) But as we go, we get to know our leader better. We learn what we do not know about God, and we begin to understand what He would do and say in any given situation.
