Three Big Announcements

Hello Friend,
About three years ago, I was asked by a friend what I hope to be doing in five years. I said I want the Converge program and team to be fully operational and for me to be teaching and writing more. We have daily progress on Converge, but I have three exciting announcements about the teaching and writing:
First, I’ve been published again through a new book called Making A Difference: How to Extend Your Influence and Transform Your World. My friend Dwight Clough invited me to be one of the ten authors contributing a chapter. (Jerry Jenkins is also one of the co-authors. You may remember he is a co-author of the Left Behind series.) You can order the book now at Amazon. (Kindle $5 and paperback $20USD)
Second, I’ve been invited to be part of YWAM’s 30 Days of Vision Challenge, an online super conference. It’s an honor to be included as one of the 47 YWAM visionary leaders who will be speaking everyday in April. I’ll be speaking on Saturday, April 24, about calling and why God chooses students for new initiatives in world missions. Mary & I are trusting God to touch many new believers to respond to his call.

Missional Church Emerging
These are the five sessions of the Missional Church Emerging class I taught in February and the beginning of March. These sessions sum up over three decades of following God's lead into his mission. It follows Peter's admonition to "make every effort...to make your calling and election sure." (2 Pe. 1:1-10) I hope you will take the opportunity to listen.
Thresholds
God is inviting his Church, his bride, to cross over into a new chapter of history right now. This is an invitation to enter THAT Story. We are called out (ekklesia) and we are sent (apostolic/missional) to be History Makers. Our CALL is to cross the Threshold into what God has prepared for his bride.
We are his witnesses. Called to testify about what we know, that Jesus Christ is Lord. Our CALLING IS TO testify. To do so, we need to know our identity in Christ; we need to know His voice; and we need to know our purpose.
The Church exists because of God’s mission. The church does not have a mission; God’s mission has a church. Here are the
To make our stand, we need to make every effort, as the apostle Peter writes in his second letter, to add to our faith, moral goodness, knowledge, self-control, and perseverance.
This final session is about a table, a cross, and a crown. Before the crown, there must be a cross. To practice godliness, and brotherly kindness, and to learn of God’s kind of love, you must sit at the table.
