Hello Friend,
During this past month John visited several college campuses for a #PraytheCampus prayer campaign. I even went with him to visit a few. Because we could only visit colleges in NJ, PA, and DE, John sometimes prayed for universities he had prayer walked in the past, including a few in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the first one John prayer walked in Huaraz, PERU in 1987.
Several of you sent notes of encouragement as we continued to pray through the month, and others joined in on this campaign. Here’s what John Hess, a YWAM colleague in Europe wrote:
“John, this praying through the universities is a fantastic idea. May God move mightily on university campuses. Someday you need to visit the Jagellonian U. here in Krakow where Copernicus taught. Krakow actually has over 200,000 students attending institutions of higher learning.”
Another encouraging note came from Bryan Bishop, a YWAM leader who coordinates YWAM’s international prayer day, called The Invitation. Bryan has invited me to write up the prayer focus on the universities for The Invitation this Sept.
We’re grateful for the partnership in this important ministry. I can’t think of a more important prayer project, so as God allows, we will do another #PraytheCampus campaign next year. And of course we’ll continue to occasionally pray on campuses and post about those visits.

This is the prayer for Oxford and Cambridge Universities - Otherwise known as "Oxbridge." The University of Oxford in England, started in 1096 is the oldest university in the English-speaking world. This prayer time is really for the broad spheres of Education and the Church.
We have big news! Becca graduated from Rowan on May 8th. It was a virtual ceremony. We made her wear the Cap & Gown and march around the house with pomp & circumstance. LOL. I really think she didn’t mind.
We have a practical need; John’s laptop must be replaced. It is old and the keyboard no longer works. Would you please pray with us for extra provision to cover the expense of about $1000. We continue to be amazed at the way God provides. Thank YOU for partnering with us in this ministry.
